Many teams around Europe are beginning their preseason campaigns ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season.
Manchester United beat Leeds United 2-0 in their first match while Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Nurnberg in Germany. Mason Mount and Kai Havertz played their first minutes for their respective sides as they look to settle into their new squads.
In preparation for the new season, Liverpool and Tottenham will be joined by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the Festival of Football in Kallang, Singapore.
The three European giants will be joined by newly relegated Leicester City in the preseason tournament as part of their wider tour of South East Asia, with matches also planned in Thailand and Japan. Roma were replaced by Lion City Sailors after Jose Mourinho's side withdrew from the competition.
