Madden 24 ratings tracker: Updated leaks, list of top NFL players by position in 2023 release

Madden 24 already has a release date set for Aug. 18, but there is so much to talk about in the next month.

One of the main points of conversation is and always will be player ratings. Who belongs in the 99 club (besides Patrick Mahomes)? Who is overrated? Who is underrated? And will your favorite team be fun to play as?

We're finally getting those answers with the ratings rollout. Players are known to have some strong reactions to their ratings, so make no mistake, they care. That's not to say fans should too, but in the dog days of the NFL offseason, it's something to talk about.

Here are the top-rated players at every position in Madden with the ratings rolling out.

Madden 24 ratings

In partnership with EA Sports, ESPN is releasing certain position groups each day during the week of July 17. Top 10 players in five different position groups will be released, as well as a member of the 99-overall club, presumably each morning.

Here's the release schedule for the position groups this week:

Monday, July 17: Wide receivers
Tuesday, July 18: Edge rushers
Wednesday, July 19: Running backs
Thursday, July 20: Cornerbacks
Friday, July 21: Quarterbacks
Sunday, July 22: Madden 24 Ratings Special on ESPN

99 overall club

Justin Jefferson

Unsurprisingly, Justin Jefferson was announced Monday as the first player of the 99 Club. He led the league in 2022 with 128 receptions for 1,809 yards, 28 catches of 20-plus yards and 80 receptions for first downs.

Aaron Donald

Aaron Donald on Tuesday was announced as the second member of the 99 Club — his seventh, most all time among any player in Madden franchise history. Donald missed six games in 2022, racking up five sacks and 11 QB hits. His consistent dominance helped him earn the record-breaking nod:
